This year's theme is "Old Glory" in celebration of our nation's 250th birthday. To be eligible for the theme award, your model must incorporate an Amercian flag on it.

Model Car Show & Swap Meet
NNL style model car contest, with BEST OF Awards presented to chosen models.
Event is a Swap Meet where modelers can bring their unwanted kits to seel or trade with other modelers and vendors in attendance. Scheduled for 19 September 2026 at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 670, address is 3928 Doc Bennett Road, Fayetteville NC 28306. Their will be a display are for those who wish to show their latest or past modeling creation.
Vendor set up is 0900-1000, doors open at 1000.

Region 12 Local Model Contest
ValleyCon 2027 in early April will be our 36th edition, for a club that was founded in 1991 (no show in 2020). We are an established Region 1 event which kicks off the new year for many/most New England modelers. As a local-level event, we average 100 modelers, 350 models in our contest, and approximately 300 walk-in visitors. In addition, we now offer a Display Only area (6 eight-foot tables) which were completely filled during our 2026 event, just recently concluded. We have access to a seperate vendor room that holds 55 tables, in addition to the Club Table (where Members turn Stash-Into-Cash), which is to our knowledge the largest such vendor arrangement among the New England chapters.

IPMS Niagara Frontier invites you to our 42nd annual Model Show and Contest in Cheektowaga, New York on April 4, 2027. BuffCon is a one day show in a Buffalo, New York suburb with a long history of great models to see and great vendors to help increase your collection.
The show is in two adjacent halls, one for the contest and a newly remodeled hall for vendors and refreshments. We typically see around 425 model entries and 50+ vendor tables so there's plenty to look at.
We open at 9:00 with entry registration until 1:00 and awards starting at 4:00. The contest room is open during judging and we have an all day raffle going on.
For our Canadian friends, Canadian $$ are accepted at par for admission, model entries and raffle tickets.
