Contest Fees: $15 (IPMS Members $10) for adults, juniors are free, for 5 model entries. $1 Each additional entry.
General Admission: FREE

12pm to 12:30pm lunch, judges
12:30pm to 3pm judging (contest area to be closed) & “Raffles”
3pm to 4pm awards ceremony

Raffles for kits: $1 for 1 ticket or $5 for 6 tickets

Theme and Special Awards. All models judged on the Chicago Rules of Gold, Silver and Bronze.
General Admission - $5 for adults and kids under 12 Free iwth a paying adult.
Contest Entry:
Adult - $10 for the first 2 models; Each additional model for $4 each.
Juniors (16 and under) $3 per model.

This is our 34th contest, covering 43 categories from the entire scope of scale modeling.
The Chattanooga Scale Modelers are hosting Chattanooga ModelCon 2026 on January 9th and 10th 2026. This annual half day followed by a whole day event will be held at the Chattanooga Convention Center. No theme this year, just “Bring What You Like”. Contest models are judged using the Gold-Silver-Bronze methodology where each model is judged on its own merit. There’s also a “display only” area where modelers can display their models without being judged. There will be a large number of vendors bringing model kits, tools, paints, publications, etc. for sale to the public. A raffle will be held on Saturday.
2025 Modelfest will be held on Saturday, August 23 at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church, 1815 W Liberty Dr, Liberty, MO 64068.
This year's special theme is Olive Drab
Registration will be open from 9:00am until noon, with awards at 3:00pm.
Admission
* Adults (18+): $10.00 for the first 3 entries, $1.00 for each additional
entry
* Juniors (17 and under): free
* Walk-in (not competing): $3.00 per person, kids under 12 are free
Judging
* All categories (except Juniors) will be judged according to IPMS rules
* Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and Best Of in each category
* Junior categories will be judged using the Open System
Raffle
* Model kits from a vairiety of categories and subjects
* Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5

This is our 39th show. Last year we had 389 models on display and 70 contestants.
This is a free event to view the models and vendor area. There is a fee of $10.00 for the first model and $1.00 for each aditional model
There will only be snacks and drinks on site.
