TigerCon 2025, 15th Annual

:: 15th Annual TigerCon ::

TigerCon is held each year in early November. Centrally located in Columbia, Missouri, modelers from all parts of Region14 attend this contest and vendor show.

TigerCon awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each model category, with judging following the IPMS rules and "no sweeps" per category. There are five additional awards for "Best in Class" groups, which are topped off with trophies for "Best of Show", "People's Choice", and the coveted "Truman Award".

TigerCon is open to all modelers. You do not need to be an IPMS member to enter. There is also a popular Non-Competition (presentation only) area available.

Throughout the event an ongoing raffle will award kits to attendees!

The event also features a growing number of vendors, so in addition to winning awards, you can stock up for your Winter modeling projects!

The event starts at 9:00am and ends approximately 4:30pm.

Pelicon 2026

By popular demand, the Pelikan Model Club will be hosting Pelicon 2026 on March 14th, 2026, at the same venue, Higgins Hall, 5225 N Himes Ave, Tampa, FL 33614. It will be a one-day show featuring over 60 plus vendor tables. Fun was had by all. Stay tuned for further details.

The Joy of Modeling Memorial Day Display

Dragon Lady Scale Modelers present "the Joy of Modeling" Memorial Day display". The display will be held at the Yuba Sutter Marketplace Mall, 1215 Colusa Avenue Yuba City CA. 95991 from 9:00am to 6:00pm on Saturday the 24th  and 10:00am to 5:00 pm on Sunday the 25th. There will be a huge variety of models on display and we will have tables set up for the club members to build models and show the public various building techniques.

MosquitoCon

MosquitoCon is a one-day show with a large model and vendor turnout.  2026 will mark our 34th consecutive year for the show.  Typically, 500 or more models are entered and over 100 vendor tables are filled.

IPMS Reno, "High Rollers" 24th Annual Show & Contest

Our Contest is held at the National Automobile Museum, just blocks away from gaming, shopping, great food and super hotels. What more could a Modeler (or Modelers Wife) ask for.

We hope you will take the opportunity to attend this Years event as we have had many very positive comments on our new contest venue.  Reno offers so many things to do that this is easily a family outing and not just a Modelers weekend.
