Model Contest and Vendor Fair

Vendor Setup 7:00am to 8:30am.  Doors open to the public at 8:30am.

Registration 8:30am to noon.  Noon to 3:00pm judging.

Awards ceremony to follow.

 

Categories: Aircraft, Military Vehicles, Automotive, Dioramas/Vignettes, Ships/Boats, SciFi/Gundam, and many more.

 

Gold  -  Silver  -  Bronze  judging rules apply.  Plus, People’s Choice, RC Memorial, Best of Category, and Best of Show Awards.

 

Location  -  Arc of the Ozarks Center  -  1501 East Pythian Street, Springfield, MO 65802.

Spectator Admission $2 per person.  Accompanied children under age 12 are free.

Raffle Prizes  -  Vendors  -  Free Parking  -  Ground Level  -  Handicap Accessible.

WonderCon IV

Come join us for Wonder-Con IV hosted by the Ventura County's "One-Oh-Wonders" IPMS Region 8 Chapter on 30 August 2026!  This will be a Local IPMS show with Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards with open judging. 2026 Fur Rondy Model Contest

Announcing the 2026 Fur Rondy Scale Model Contest hoseted by the Anchorage Scale Model Club.

All types of models welcome, from aircraft to tanks, hot rod cars to ships and everything in between. Come join in the fun and fellowship of your fellow modelers.

Model Entry: Saturday 2/28 10am-5pm

Judging: Sunday 3/1

Open from 10am-7pm daily.

The contest is open to anyone. Contestants may enter any model that they've built, even prize-winning models from any other local or national contest, with the exception of award winners from the 2025 or prior Anchorage Scale Model Club contests. However, prior award winning kits may be included in a diorama for a new entry. Check out the rules book on the costest webpage for all the details.
