IPMS/USA is seeking a volunteer candidate for the newly created position of IT Director. This person will report to the President of IPMS/USA as a voting member of the Executive Board. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Providing guidance and oversight on the acquisition and use of software and hardware platforms to enhance our ability to service our membership.
• Reviewing the suite of current COTS and internally developed applications and making recommendations for their improved integration, maintainability and utility
• Working closely with the Treasurer and Director of social media regarding IT needs in support of their roles
• Oversight of model registration system, National Awards Presentation creation, Contest Photography scripts
• Oversight and design of web infrastructure and tools, and monitoring any hardware updates
• Oversight of the IPMS/USA model registration system
• Privacy and Security oversight, including regulatory compliance 

The ideal candidate will be a current national member of IPMS/USA, have an IT background, and be willing to work an average of 4-6 hours weekly in support of the position requirements.  The IT Director will need to become familiar with and manage our current application portfolio. Some of our specific applications include:

• Wild Apricot membership software
• QuickBooks
• Dropbox
• Drupal and other tools for our IPMS/USA website
• IPMS specific applications including our Model Registration System and Convention Badge and Label printing
