The John H Glenn and Western Reserve IPMS Chapters will proudly host their annual model show and contest Sunday, November 2nd, 2025, at the Kirtland School Complex in Kirtland Ohio. Open to all modelers, this year’s show features the following: An Expanded Contest Area, FREE LUNCH for Contest Judges, Judges' Best of Show Award, People’s Choice Awards, "Best Of" Category Awards, Nine Special Theme Awards, 61 Contest Categories, A Huge Day-Long Raffle with a Special FREE Kids' Raffle, Dozens of Hobby Vendors, and On-site Food Services. The theme for this year's show will be "C'est la Vie" - anything French or French-related. The show will also sponsor an award for the "Best Atlantis" model.
On Sunday, October 19, 2025, IPMS Syracuse presents our 37th Annual Model Show and Contest, SyrCon 37
We welcome all modelers of all ages form all over the Northeast USA and Canada. We have 64 categories plus special awards covering all model building genres.
Last year we had our all-time high in model entries and we can break that record this year! We will have over 30 vendor tables and a huge raffle table, in addition to special raffle prizes.

We open at 8:30AM with model registration closing at noon. We begin judging at noon and awards follow as soon as judging is completed.

The Cincinnati Scale Modelers will be holding their annual model show and contest Saturday, October 18th at the Tri-State Warbird Museum. There will be over 50 tables of vendors selling plastic model kits, supplies, books, and aviation/military related items. The show will also showcase a completed model contest with 100's of entries. This will all take place within the museum’s airplane hangars, allowing guests to experience the models and vendors next to the fully restored WWII aircraft. A special admission price for the day gives visitors full access to the museum, vendors, and contest area. Come on out to see professionally finished plastic models as well as shop an amazing variety of model kits and supplies, all under the wings of the aircraft!
