The 40th annual 4M Mayhem Contest and Show - Hosted by the IPMS/Mid-Michigan Model Makers. On Saturday, May 24, 2025, Model Con 419 will take place in the Quality Inn Perrysburg.  The hobby event will bring plastic modelers from all over the Midwest to compete in a judged competition, and shop with a wide array of vendors.  The doors will open to the public at 9:00 am.

The judged model contest will be divided into 55 categories, with subjects ranging from Aircraft and Military Vehicles to Spacecraft and Dinosaurs.  There are Juniors and Teens categories to allow younger modelers to compete.  Trophies will be awarded for First, Second, and Third Places, along with “Best Ofs” in each category; also, Special Awards will be given for particular subjects.  Over 30 vendor tables will be loaded with a variety of model kits, books, tools and supplies at prices well below those of brick-and-mortar stores.  In addition, there will be an all-day raffle with even more kits and modeling supplies up for grabs.  The show will close at about 5:00 pm.

The Old Dominion Open is an annual model Show and Contest that has been hosted by IPMS Richmond for over 20 years. Our Show is held in a historical 36,000 square foot building within the Richmond Raceway Complex.  Our Show is one of the largest local single day show's in the Country and features a model contest, extensive vendor area with over 40 vendors, kit drawings, food and drink vendor on site, and numerous modeling display exhibits.

TigerCon is held each year in early November. Centrally located in Columbia, Missouri, modelers from all parts of region 14 attend this contest and vendor show. TigerCon is open to all modelers. Bring your family and friends!

TigerCon awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each model category, with judging following IPMS rules and "no sweeps" per category. Six additional "Best in Class" awards are given out, topped off with trophies for "Best of Show", "People's Choice" and a yearly "Theme Champion" award. This years optional theme competition class is "Show Me Missouri". In addition, the sponsored "Truman" Award Group Build Invitational topic will be "Mustang Cars" (any Mustang car in any scale can be entered in the "Truman" award category.

Throughout the event an ongoing raffle will award kits to attendees. There will also be the ever-popular Make-n-Take table for kids. The event also features a well rounded group of vendors, so in addition to awards, you can stock up for your winter modeling projects.
