Theme "FIGHTING FIRE WITH FIRE"Modelers throughout the western United States have attended our event over the past few years and we welcome many different subjects and medias.Every year we also try to have a "high class" food truck on hand for a specific timeframe as there are no resturants located for several miles.Special Awards

Model Classic 2019

Model Contest and Show.  Our theme for 2019 is "D-Day to the Bulge."  April 20, 2019. Over 90 regular ontest categories plus special theme categories.  Approximately 120 vendor and exhibitor tables are available.  Food concession provided by our venue host, the Fairfax High School Choral Patrons, will be available at the show.  Other activities include a raffle with super raffle, a make and take event for young modelers, demonstrations and guest exibitors that in the past have included model railroads and a lego club.  560 models were entered at Model Classic 2018.  Show opens to the public at 9:00 am.  The awards ceremoney usually begins by 4:00 pm.  Overnight accomodations and dining establishments are available close to the school. 

Admission:  Contestants - $10.00 unlimited number of models.  Walk-in - $8.00.  Juniors 17 and under are free.  Award sponsorships at $30.00 per category are always welcome.

Vendor table price is $30.00 per table.

Modelpalooza 2018

MODELPALOOZA 2018 will be held September 14th through the 16th at the newly remodeled Avanti Palms Resort 6515 International Drive, Orlando Fl. Rates start at $89 double/single rooms with Free parking, you must call 866-994-3157 and ask for the Modepalloza rate.

The weekend will start with an all day Armor weathering Workshop at 9AM Friday limited to 20 students, we will also have several free workshops during the weekend as well as great Raffle.

Preregistered online entrants can start checking in at 7pm on Friday. We have the largest vendor turnout in the Southeast, this year our venue is even larger ! Please visit our Modelpalooza link for all the Info.

Surgicon 25
