WrightTreat 2019

Wrighttreat has now become an annual event where like-minded modelers come together and build, talk and share modeling techniques. We have reserved the Phantom - Sabre room at the Hope Hotel for the retreat.  The event is simple, bring along a model or models to work on and some building tools.  Don't worry if you forget something, someone should be able to help you out. The room will open 0900ish Friday morning and we will roll right through until Sunday afternoon. Each evening, we typically lock the room up around 1100 pm and start up again at 0800 the next morning. If you suffer from insomnia, we can make an arrangement to stay and build through the night.  Feel free to stay for a day, two or all three if you are able to. :-) 

Additionally, If you have some models or modeling items to sell, please feel free to bring those items along as well.    The event costs $10 for the weekend to help offset the costs of renting the room for the weekend.

25th Annual Florida Toy & Collectible Show/South Florida Model Show

Located at the Scottish Rites Masonic Hall at 2000 North D street, in Lake Worth, Florida, 33460, this 25th Annual Toy and Collectible Show, hosted by the South Florida Toy Soldier Club, includes a Model Contest, run by the South Florida Scale Model Consortium. 

The event runs 9am to 3pm on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

All are welcome.

IPMS Pensacola Swap Meet

IPMS Pensacola will be hosting their annual swap meet at John's Models on November 17th, 2018 from 830AM-430PM

The meet will be in the large yard outside to accommodate as many tables as needed.

It might be hot (high 80s) or cold (low 40s) that day, so remember to dress appropriately!

IPMS Prison City Modelers Annual Show

Twelfth annual model show in historic Leavenworth, the first city in Kansas.  Hosted by the IPMS Prison City Modelers chapter, the doors open at 9:00 am for registration and award ceremony is at 3:00 p.m.  For a full list of categories, please see our contest section on our webpage. The location is the Heritage Center, 109 Delaware Street, conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and hotels in downtown Leavenworth. 

This year's special theme will be “could of, would of, should of” featuring prototype vehicles that never went into full production.  This could be a prototype automobile, tank that they only make a few copies of, or an X version aircraft– get building!

Vendor tables are $10 each, and have sold out the past two years, so if you want to reserve a table, please don't wait.  Doors open for vendors at 8:00 for early set-up.
