TigerCon 2023
12th Annual Model Contest and Vendor Fair
TigerCon is held each year in early November. Centrally located in Columbia, modelers from all parts of Region14 attend this local contest and vendor fair.
TigerCon is open to all modelers. You do not need to be an IPMS member to enter. TigerCon awards 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for each model category, with judging following the IPMS rules and "no sweeps" per category. There are five additional awards for "Best in Class" (figures, cars, etc.), which are topped off with trophies for "Best of Show" and "People's Choice". Each year an optional theme is chosen with its own "Theme Champion" award. Check the web site for this year's theme.
Throughout the event an ongoing raffle will award kits to attendees. For the kids, there is a free Make-n-Take booth. The popular Non-Competition table (presentation only) will again be available. The facility is handicap accessible.
The event also features a growing number of vendors, so in addition to winning awards, you can stock up for your Winter modeling projects!
The 12th annual TigerCon will start at 9:00am and end approximately 4:30pm on Saturday November 4th, 2023.

Joy of Models
Model Display only open to all clubs from April 14, 2023, set up will be at 6 p.m. at the Yuba-Sutter Mall. The model display will be at the Yuba-Sutter Mall, located at 1250 Colusa Ave, Yuba City, CA 85991. The Model Display will run from April 14, 2023, to April 16, 2023. The Mall hours are as follows Friday 0900 am to 8 pm, Saturday 0900 am to 8 pm Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. All models will be guarded by club members. All models must be removed by 6 pm on Sunday. All models not claimed will be stored by Dragon Lady Scale Modelers. Any models left over ( 30 ) days will become the property of Dragon Lady Scale Modelers

Leavenworth Model Show
Annual model contest and show in the historic first city of Kansas, Leavenworth. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m., running until noon. Judging begins at noon and the awards are announced at 3:00 p.m. Large vendor room available, with vendor tables $10 each. Please contact show chairman at mgerges@kc.rr.com to reserve your spaces. Doors open an hour early at 8:00 a.m. for vendor set-up. Lots of hotel rooms, food, and museums within walking distance of the venue. Fort Leavenworth and Frontier Army Musuem is a short (under ten minutes) drive. Contest theme for 2023 is "American Dream, '53-'63."

SilverCon 2023
Hello fellow builders. SilverCon 2023 is scheduled for Saturday June 17, 2023 at 9 a.m. Our contest theme is "The 45th Anniversary of Battlestar Galactica." The show & contest will be held at the Town & Country Lutheran Church 4049 Marconi Ave. Sacramento, Ca. 95841. Doors open to guests and entrants at 9 a.m. Registration closes at 12:00pm. Judging will begin at 12:30pm and we will have a raffle at Noon. The awards ceremony will begin as soon as the judging is complete and votes tabulated. We hope to see you there!
