"The Forbidden Contest"

"The forbidden Contest" Will 26 categories of Space, Science Fiction, Wargames, Figures and Junior modeling.
Spartanburg Scale Modeler will also have categories that tie in with our Theme of 30 plus year TV/Movies. This will include categories for Aircraft, Armor, Ships Figures and Automotive.
There will be Theme awards for Best "Forbidden Planet", Best Robot from a Movie or TV series, and Best TV/Movie Subject
The contest will be judged on the 1st,2nd,3rd IPMS style of judging.

Scalefest 2023

Please join us for the 2023 addition of Scalefest 2023, hosted by IPMS-North Central Texas.  The theme award for the event is "The Fabulous 50's" and any model subject related to 1950’s is eligible.  This could autos, aircraft or a movie theme subject which depicts the 1950’s.  Any Korean War subject would also fit the theme.  A special award for best Marine Corps subject will also be awarded.

IPMS Reno, "High Rollers" 22nd Annual Model Contest and Show

Our show is being held at the Reno Elks Lodge on Saturday, October 7th, 2023.  Our contest theme is tentatively set for the "Swinging '60's" so break out those ty-dy shirts and bell bottom pants and plan on bringing those '60's cars, Vietnam era aircraft, armor etc.  We'll send an update to the National Club when we have our flier set.  Looking forward to seeing you all here.  Cheers!

DowneastCon 2023

This is a local event hosted each year in Southern Maine.  It is a model contest, display, and Make-and-Take event.  We have raffle drawings and lots of vendors as well!  New this year, we have added a Gundam category!

ACME Southern Nationals - 2023

Please joinn us for our 28th annual ACME Southern Nationals at our new venue & host hotel; The Clarence Brown Conference Center & Marriott Courtyard Cartersville. Our new venue offers 3 times the space of our previous location with easier access and ample parking. Vendors may set up on Friday evening, Early Bird passes available.

The three themes for 2023 are: 100 years of LeMans, 70 years of Corvette and NASCAR.

Mid Iowa Modelers Expo 4 NNL

Our event is an NNL style show, where participants do part of the voting, and our special awards are judged by a committee.

Our theme this year is vehicles from Movies/TV. We build our special awards each year, so they are unique, not just copies of the previous year's awards.

We do have vendors, and we don't charge for spectators, or junior entrants.

BAYCON 2023

Our show has 35 categories covering everything from ships, automobiles, trucks, figures, si-fi, armor, aircraft ,dioramas, Gundums, to flat art. There are categories for novice and junior entrants as well. There are 14 vendor tables there with plenty to buy.Food is available on site.
