To mark the occasion we are going back to where it all began, back to modeling.
In the past we have had just about every hobby covered, but this show will be focused strictly on modeleing of all types.
It has been the modelers who have been our biggest supporters, it's time we gave back to them.

Enter Models Saturday, 25 Feb 2017 10:00 pm to 5:00 pm $3.00 entry fee per model for adults and $1.00 per model entry fee for juniors.
Contest models on display and modeling technique demonstrations Monday 27 Feb 2017 thru Saturday 4 Mar, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Display and contest models pick-up Sunday 5 Mar 2017 10:00am to 3:00 pm.

Brief description of the event: Plastic model contest based on basic modeling craftsmanship such as construction and painting. Junior, teen and open age groups. Categories (planes, cars, tanks, figures, ships, Sci fi, dioramas, etc) and rules at https://www.ipmsanchorage.com. Any age, skill level or plastic modeling interest is welcome. Entry fee is $3.00 per model. Contest entry is open to the public, any model builder can enter.
Annual contest and show, Over 60 categories and special awards including Best Viet-Nam War Subject and Judges' Best of Show.
Our 2017 show and contest theme is "Surf Sand & Sun. Any vehicle from dune buggies, Baja racers, Woodies with surf boards, speed boats on trailers, and your classic convertibles to name a few.
