PhP – Continuing to work on a Quick Reference guide for judges and verifying and preparing judges pins and certificates. Will be holding a zoom meeting with the head judges next month. Northeast Region chapter treasurers met on Zoom to discuss common questions and explore the use of the treasurer spreadsheets downloadable from IPMS USA Chapter Toolbox.
The one-hour YouTube discussion seeks to answer common questions that include tracking chapter revenue, recording expenses, tax considerations, venue insurance requirements, and going cashless.

Ro Annis introduced the Journal Team members to the Eboard, after which they were excused from the remainder of the meeting.

EA – There is currently an issue reconciling the meeting date and location of local chapters and WA, working on a solution to reduce conflicts between the two. RA will send photos and titles of the journal team members in order to update the “About Us” section on the website. The San Diego Chapter was saddened when long-time IPMS member Joel Hendricks passed away unexpectedly on Jan 14, 2025 at the age of 64. As club secretary, Joel was predeceased by his dear wife Rosann. He is survived by his two sons, Joel and Matt and their families, including a granddaughter.
The club secretary for years, Joel was also an enthusiastic volunteer behind the scenes. Always involved, he managed the kit opportunity drawings at the annual Model Expo and was the lively auctioneer for our kit auctions. Joel also took on the exacting task of ordering and managing the club's custom T-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, and hats.

As I write this, we are about halfway through the 60th year of IPMS/USA, and there are several ways we are celebrating.
