Our contest for 2022, is being held at the Reno Elk's Lodge just blocks away from gaming, shopping, great food and super hotels. What more could a modeler (or modeler's wife) ask for?
The theme for our show this year will be, "The Cold War" so anything related from the '50s to the fall of the Berlin Wall is eligable for the theme award this year.
We hope you take this opportunity to attend this years event as we have had many very positive comments on our contest. Reno offers so many diverse and interesting things to do that this is easily a family outing and not just a modelers weekend.

This is a winter Model Show in Southeast Minnesota put on by IPMS Chapter 5-33. This will be the 24th annual show (missed last year with Covid).
The show will be held at the Rochester Empire Event Center in Rochester Minnesota on Saturday February 5th 2022. The show address is 1517 16th Street SW Rochester, MN 55902
The registration opens at 9 am and the awards are announced at 3 pm. An unlimited number of models can be entered for a $10 Entry Fee. There is no other admission cost to come to see the show.
There are 9 categories Armor, Aircraft, Cars and Motorcycles, Ships, Figures, Dioramas, Miscellaneous, Youth, and Sci-Fi.
Models are judged on a merit basis and awarded a possible Gold, Silver, or Bronze medal. If a model enters multiple models in a single category the judges will select a single model and judge that one model for a medal.

In celebration of the U.S. Navy's birthday, come aboard for a model contest, vendors, food and family fun!
Scalefest 2022 will be held at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S Main St, Grapevine, TX 76051. Doors open at 9am and close at 5pm.
Our theme award is "Desert Shield / Desert Storm" for the best model or figure which is represntitive up a subject with operated during the first Gulf War (1990-1991)

The Mike Quan Divine Scale Award: Most realistic 1/72nd scale aircraft
The Buddy Wolfe Award: Most unusual or realistic automotive subject

Safety Regulation: We are bound by any safety restrictions imposed by any governmental body or by the venue at the time of the event. Masks are recommended but not currently required but that is subject to change.
