TriCity Classic XVI "Clear And Present Danger"

Third time's charm for us for what will be our 16th TC Classic, as we enjoy hosting for third year in a row at our new venue The Elks Lodge of Fremont. Our Contest & Show will be featuring now 56 Senior Categories, 10 Junior/SubJunior Categories for traditional 1-2-3 awarding. We will offer 17 Special Awards, including of course the usual Best of Show Senior & Junior (2) Best of Class (6) (Aircraft, Armor, Auto, Fig, Ship, Dio) as well as returning favorites for Best Twin Engine Lightning, Best American Fighter Aircraft.  Also returning is the "It Figures" Special Award series for Junior entrants only, up to three cash awards given out if warranted, in memory of long time competitor and supporter who always promoted the Joy of Scale Modelling to the young folk. Our theme this year again uses our long time template of combining geography with a classic movie: "Clear And Present Danger" the movie, the specific "on theme subject entries eligible" thusly will be for the most part ANYTHING from USA, Cuba, Central or South America, to be cohesive with the movie's main focus. 5 Special Awards of our planned 17 will be focused on the theme, some with wide range and some very specific. We will have Vendors, Raffles (yes, more than one during the day of event) plenty of free parking on site, varied restaurants (sit down & walk up, many types of menu) within walking distance. Our venue is easy to find, well lit, our model community is friendly and welcomes you to our show to compete, shop, come to see the models, meet old friends, make new ones, and HAVE FUN .
