At the April 21 IPMS/USA Executive Board Meeting, the Executive Board voted to adopt the IPMS/USA Code of Ethics. This set of principles will guide the organization’s decision making and activities, as well as the behavior of its Executive Board members and volunteers and sets forth our commitment to ethical behavior. This IPMS/USA Code of Ethics articulates the core ethical beliefs of our society.
The purpose of adopting such a code formally, is to provide Executive Board members and volunteers with guidelines for making ethical choices and to ensure that there is accountability for their actions and choices.
