The March 2020 Executive Board Meeting Minutes have been posted.
The IPMS/USA Executive Board and the 2020 National Convention Planning Committee are still moving forward with planning and on-time execution of the 2020 convention. We are well aware of the plethora of challenges ahead of us in the next 90 days. There are many more unknowns than there are knowns at the moment. However, with the facts on-hand we feel the convention can still be held.
The convention team is still moving forward with planning for the 2020 convention. While we are well aware of all the social distancing and quarantine policies in place around the country these are temporary in nature and we are continuing with the assumption that by late July these will be restrictions will be lifted. The planning team will continue to track this issue closely.

The January 2020 Executive Board Meeting Minutes have been posted.
While we discontinued the IPMS-sponsored Make and Take program last year, we recognize that some of our Chapters have elected to support MnT activity at the local level. On a trial basis (subject to cancellation) we will provide a $100 post-event grant to any chapter holding a MnT event to offset their costs. Director of Local Chapters Dave Lockhart will be creating an application form for this program. Photos and writeups of the event activity will need to be submitted along with the application to obtain the grant.
I’m pleased to tell you that the Executive Board has approved two initiatives aimed at active, retired and disabled service members. These are as follows:
ST. LOUIS — The Gateway Chapter of the International Plastic Modelers’ Society (IPMS) donated $500 to the 2019 United States Marine Corps Reserve (USMCR) Toys for Tots campaign in Metropolitan St. Louis. Club President Rick Keasey presented the donation to the USMCR last Tuesday, December 17.
