The 46th Annual Bob Paeth Portland Classic Model Car Contest

The Bob Paeth Portland Classic Model Car Contest is the longest running MOdel Car Contest in the PNW if not the Country. The Classic is a fully judged contest with all the judges having over 30 year of experience each. Come see some of the best built model cars in the country. Our current venue of the World of Speed Museum in Wilsonville, OR gives you plenty to do amd ee while you're at the Classic

Leavenworth Model show

11th Annual Leavenworth Model Show in historic Leavenworth, Kansas, the first city in Kansas. This year's special theme is "At the Movies", and any models of vehicles, persons, or props is eleigible for the award. The doors at 9:00 a.m. for registration; registration ends at 12:00 p.m. and judging begins. The award ceremony is at 3:00 p.m.

Trophy sponsors are needed. Trophy packages are $15 for individual categories, and $25 for “best of” in automotive, aircraft, and armor and $35 for the special theme category. Please contact the contest chairman to reserve your trophy.

Vendors— we will have a full house with room for over 20 tables of vendors. Please come out and make it worth their while to support local contests. Table are $10 each for 6′ tables and can be reserved by emailing the contest chairman.

The 11th Semi-Annual Southlandz Model Car Swap Meet & Contest

Held in the HUGE, 13,000 Conmy Center located on the campus of Oour Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church. You will find 60+ eight foot tables chock FULL of model car goodies, kits, aftermarket parts, decals, etc. And Florida's largest model car contest with 36 categories in total with 5 special theme classes. Enter Models Saturday, 24 Feb 2018 10:00 pm to 5:00 pm $3.00 entry fee per model for adults and $1.00 per model entry fee for juniors.

Contest models on display and modeling technique demonstrations Monday 26 Feb 2018 thru Saturday 3 Mar, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Display and contest models pick-up Sunday 4 Mar 2018 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Plastic model contest based on basic modeling craftsmanship such as construction and painting. Junior, teen and open age groups. Categories (planes, cars, tanks, figures, ships, Sci fi, dioramas, etc) and rules at www.ipmsanchorage.com . Open to the public, any age, skill level or plastic modeling interest is welcome. Entry fee is $3.00 per model for adults and $1.00 for juniors.

The theme of the show is "The Models of Bill Koster". There is a special theme award for the best model designed by Bill. For our junios modelers we have a special category of Best Lego Model. We are planning a make and take for our junior modelers. There is no entry fee for juniors and they can enter as many models as they want. As usual we will have a great raffle with many desirable kits.
