IPMS Great Plains will be co-hosting this show along side KCAMPS. All armor entries will be judged using AMPS rules. All other entries will be judged using IPMS rules.

Registration will begin at 9:00am Entry fee for the Great Plains portion is $5.00 for one model, $10.00 for two or more (i.e. unlimited for $10.00). Entry fee for the KCAMPS portion is $5.00 per model. Juniors (under 16) are free. Walkins are $2.00 with under 12 free.

Please note: There are two co-located shows: One hosted by IPMS Great Plains and one hosted by KC Amps. You must provide a registration form for each show that you are entering. Fill out one Registration form if you are entering in category B and fill out another Registration form if you are entering in any other category.

  • Registration Form. One or two forms required per person entering depending on entries. See the note above.
  • IPMS Model Entry Form. One form is required for each non-armor model (all categories except B) being entered.
  • KCAMPS Model Entry Form. One entry form is required for each armor model (category B) being entered.

In addition to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards in all IPMS categories, we will also have these "best of" awards:

RepLIcon 30

RepLIcon 30 is the largest annual one day hobby show and contest event on Long Island. We display hundreds of model aircraft, armor, autos, ships, spacecraft, Sci-Fi, figures, Gundam, and Miscellaneous categories. The huge gym also includes over 20 vendors selling kits and accessories. We feature a children's Make-n-Take with a snap together kit. The child selects a kit and builds it with a parent or sibling of adult age, and takes it home! We will also have a kit raffle available!

WrightTreat 2020

Wrighttreat has now become an annual event where like-minded modelers come together and build, talk and share modeling techniques. We have reserved the Phantom - Sabre room at the Hope Hotel for the retreat.  The event is simple, bring along a model or models to work on and some building tools.  Don't worry if you forget something, someone should be able to help you out. The room will open 0900ish Friday morning and we will roll right through until Sunday afternoon. Each evening, we typically lock the room up around 1100 pm and start up again at 0800 the next morning. If you suffer from insomnia, we can make an arrangement to stay and build through the night.  Feel free to stay for a day, two or all three if you are able to. :-) 

Additionally, If you have some models or modeling items to sell, please feel free to bring those items along as well.    The event costs $15 for the weekend to help offset the costs of renting the room for the weekend.

Central Connecticut Modelers Model Swap and Build Day

Our 3rd annual build day and model swap.

Rent a $5 small table or a $10 large table to bring kits to sell or swap.  Prior notification encouraged, but table reservation is not required, walk-ins are welcome. Peruse other folks models to find that kit you've been looking for.  You never know what you'll find.

Modellers are encouraged to come out, take seat at the build tables and work on a kit while sharing some good social time.  No charge to build or browse.
