The 2021 Model Model Car Nationals is the KC Slammer's 29th consecutive show. Our 2020 Heartland Nationals was cancelled as were so many others. However, in 2019 we had over 450 model cars entered with 85 vendor tables sold. It is a two-day show with models entered on Saturday, June 12 (2:00 pm until 7:00 pm), models are judged beginning at 7:00 pm Saturday with the actual show on Sunday, June 14 (9:00 am to 3:00 pm) with the award ceremony starting at 3:00 pm. It's a great show with our resident Elvis Impersonator and Disc Jockey and lots of models, modelers and vendors to spend the day with. Our longstanding venue is the Overland Park Convention Center in Overland Park,KS, a suburb of Kansas City, KS. The convention center is connected to the Sheraton Overland Park Hotel and also near plenty of lodging, shopping,restaurants, etc. The Slammers have done this a long time and thoroughly enjoy putting on the annual Heartland Model Car Nationals.
