Model contest with over 37 categories, 1,2,3rd place, best of class, best of show awards. Dual theme awards for "The North African Campaign (1940-1943)" & "70th Anniversary of the Corvette". Kit, model & aviation collectable swap meet with over 55 vendor tables. Located at the San Diego Air & Space Museum annex at Gillepie Field featuring historic aircraft, displays and restoration project. Detail can be found on the IPMS San Diego website.
IPMS Duneland located in Northwest Indiana is back this year after a succesful contest last year, it was our first contest in 10 years. This years contest will be held on Saturday October 14th at the Hobart Moose Lodge 783, located at 143 S Hobart Rd, Hobart In. 46342. Last year the contest had 520 entries (over 200 of the entries were in automotive catergories) and over 90 entrants along with over 50 vendor tables. This year we will be adding more contest tables and changing the layout in the contest/vendor room. We will also be adding more categories.
The Hobart Moose Lodge has ample parking and easy access from of 80/94, food will be available on-site along with Adult beverages.
Long standing Region 1 evemt with a large vendor room and a huge new kit raffle. Very well iit contest room with raised tables. Standard judging for aircraft and automotive classes and open judging for everyting else. Over 30 classes including two junior and two Gundam classes.
The Bunker Club's next plastic model show is Bunkermania 2023! The show will be at the same location, Clyde Firehall. We look forward to seeing all of you. We will crown our champion for best overall tank and aircraft. Championship belts are on the line. We also will have special awards for Best Russian Armor, Best Jagdtiger, Best Korean Armor, Best Marine Corp model, and Best Luftwaffe as well as Best of in all of the categories listed on the poster. We will have lots of vendors and raffle items as well. Vendor tables are only $10 if you are interested in having a table to sell some of your stash. Complimentary donuts and coffee will be available. Also, concession stand will be available with hot dogs, meatball sandwich's, snacks, and drinks. Please join us for the 2023 addition of Scalefest 2023, hosted by IPMS-North Central Texas. The theme award for the event is "The Fabulous 50's" and any model subject related to 1950’s is eligible. This could autos, aircraft or a movie theme subject which depicts the 1950’s. Any Korean War subject would also fit the theme. A special award for best Marine Corps subject will also be awarded.
Our show is being held at the Reno Elks Lodge on Saturday, October 7th, 2023. Our contest theme is tentatively set for the "Swinging '60's" so break out those ty-dy shirts and bell bottom pants and plan on bringing those '60's cars, Vietnam era aircraft, armor etc. We'll send an update to the National Club when we have our flier set. This is a local event hosted each year in Southern Maine. It is a model contest, display, and Make-and-Take event. We have raffle drawings and lots of vendors as well! New this year, we have added a Gundam category!
