The New IPMS/USA Membership and Convention Registration System is coming January 1, 2022!
That may not seem like an exciting announcement, but it means a big change for the better in the way IPMS/USA manages our member database and registers members for the National Convention. Here are some of the highlights of the new system, and how it will improve the way you as a member will interact with IPMS/USA.
- Membership, Convention Registration and Payments combined into one system. Because everything is in one system you won’t have to re-enter your information into separate systems or have different passwords to remember.
- Online access to your own profile data that you can update yourself. Want to know if we have your current address or when your membership is up for renewal? Want to change your phone number or email, or add a Nickname? You will have the ability to do it yourself through new pages on the IPMS/USA website.
- Fast and easy National Convention Registration. The new system will let you register, sign up for special seminars or banquets and buy t-shirts all on the same page, and will pre-fill your member information for you. Payment is quick and easy using credit cards or PayPal, and you can print a receipt on the spot or just leave it in your membership file.
- Keeping you better informed! Starting January 1, 2022 we will begin sending emails to remind you of your upcoming IPMS/USA membership renewal. No more wondering when it is time to renew or waiting to see if there is a renewal card in your next IPMS/USA Journal! We’ll also be able to inform you of important IPMS events like the National Convention via email.
- Here is how you can help. Watch for emails from IPMS/USA in December with details of how to get started on our new membership system. We’ll ask you to review your profile and make sure it is just the way you want it once the system opens to the public on January 1, 2022. You can update any missing or incorrect information or renew your membership. On February 1, 2022, we are planning to start registration for the 2022 National Convention in Omaha using the new system. It would be helpful if you have visited the IPMS/USA website and updated your profile before then if possible.
