This year’s Theme: "The Psychedelic Sixties"
Join us for the 21st Annual Desert Classic Contest on October 28th at Antelope Valley College. This year we will be hosting the Region 8 Regional.
IPMS Albuquerque Scale Modelers Presents Chile Con 4, the 2017 Region 10 Convention and Model Contest.
The contest will be held on 16-17 June, 2017 at the Marriot Pyramid North Hotel, 5151 San Francisco NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico USA.
The main themes of the contest are; Star Wars 40th Anniversary, May the Fourth Be With You and First World War - 100th Anniversary.
Region 3 Regional. This year's theme: Wings and Wheels. Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the U.S. Air Force and the 50th Anniversary of the Chevy Camaro. Many other special awards.
In honor of the 50 year time frame from 1967, we will have separate theme awards for Best Vietnam subject, Best Summer of Love subject, and Best Pony Car subject. Summer of Love subject is any peace loving machine, figure or diorama from the era - for example, aircraft transport, hospital ship, VW mircobus, hippie, etc. Pony Car subject is any pony car from 1964-1967; this includes Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Corvair, Pontiac Firebird, Plymouth Barracuda, Rambler Marlin and AMC Javelin. We also have a bonus theme: "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." (40 years of Star Wars) for the Best Star Wars subject. Vendors and a sizeable raffle will also be part of the contest and show.

A model contest for all classes of IPMS modelers, IPMS/PensacolaModeleers welcome all modelers to the historic Northwest Florida Gulf Coast, home of the Blue Angels.
The IPMS Pelikan Club of Clearwater, Florida will be hosting our next Pelicon model show and contest on May 20 and 21, 2017. This year we are moving to our larger 8000 square foot venue, The Minnreg Hall in Largo, Florida. Full details on the show, including contest categories and vendor information will be available on our website. This show will serve as the regional for Region 11 in 2017.
