In honor of the 50 year time frame from 1967, we will have separate theme awards for Best Vietnam subject, Best Summer of Love subject, and Best Pony Car subject.  Summer of Love subject is any peace loving machine, figure or diorama from the era - for example, aircraft transport, hospital ship, VW mircobus, hippie, etc.  Pony Car subject is any pony car from 1964-1967; this includes Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, Chevrolet Corvair, Pontiac Firebird, Plymouth Barracuda, Rambler Marlin and AMC Javelin.   We also have a bonus theme: "A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away..." (40 years of Star Wars) for the Best Star Wars subject.  Vendors and a sizeable raffle will also be part of the contest and show.

A model contest for all classes of IPMS modelers, IPMS/PensacolaModeleers welcome all modelers to the historic Northwest Florida Gulf Coast, home of the Blue Angels.

IPMS Region 2 show, in conjunction with the Military Aviation Museum's bi-planes and tri-planes event. Come enjoy a wonderful show and watch reproduction WWI aircraft fly. Also, the theme of this show will be "The First 50 Years of Aviation," and the winner of the theme award will get a free ride in a reproduction airplane. There will be plenty to do and food on-site. Hotels will be a short drive from the event. More information will be forthcoming.
