Southern California's largest model contest and vendor fair.  The contest features 47 contest categories (plus splits) as well as Best Of and Special Awards.

IPMS Victoria will be holding a 3-day display covering a wide spectrum of the scale modelling hobby. This is a free event, there is no cost to anyone. This family oriented event will be presented in one of the largest shopping Malls in Victoria and is being sponsored by the only dedicated modelling hobby store in the city of Victoria - "BC Hobbies".  IPMS Victoria chapter members will be presenting a wide variety of examples of their hobby skills including automobiles, ships, aircraft, armour, space, science fiction, figures, dioramas, fantasy and humour. In addition, there will be several demonstrations of modelling techniques and modelling workshops. Chapter intent is to reach out to a wide demographic of greater Victoria residents to demonstrate the attraction and enjoyment that the modelling hobby offers, a hobby that transcends age, gender and every other specification that might attempt to divide us, there is room for all of us in modelling.
