Our 18th TriCity Classic sees Free Hornets enjoying hosting event for a FIFTH consecutive time at our newest venue. We found way our traditional “Movie/Geography pairing” Contest theme would mesh in with 250th Anniversary of USA and 40th Anniversary of our chosen movie, which just happens to be getting a brand new theater screening ahead of our show ! Entry Subjects “geographically on theme” will be from USA (any period) or from Vietnam Conflict years 1964 to 1975, as our movie is the 1986 classic “ TOP GUN “ This is not a “hard deck” of course, as ALL MODELS are encouraged and welcomed to enter. This is only again, our theme to give the event some uniqueness. We have already set 67 categories (10 Junior, 57 Senior) for standard 1-2-3 place competition, w/well received “challenge coin” trophies for award. Several one time as Theme related Special Awards, plus perennial favorite Specials and “Best Of ”.standards

ALWAYS LOTS OF FUN, VENDORS, TWO RAFFLES, a good number of eating places within short distance of venue. Our last show “The Sum Of All Fears”, set new records for us in attendance & entries.
