In 1973, a gang of unsung heroes decided to formally charter their ragtag group of modeling renegades with the International Plastic Modelers' Society. And thus the Huntsville Scale Modelers Association was born.

And now in 2023, the Huntsville Plastic Modelers' Society celebrates 50 years of modeling with our next model show with the theme "Fabulous at 50!"

• Special Category: Fabulous at 50! - Enter a kit first produced in 1973 or before as a Basic Kit Build! See the 2023 IPMS Nationals contest rules for details on the new Basic Kit Build rules.
• Special Display Category: Survivors! - Bring your oldest model (one to an entrant please) to display! Display models are enter for free.
• Categories for All Models: If you don't think it will fit, we'll make it fit!

• General Admission and Display - Free
• Contest Entry - $10 for the first five models, $1 for each model more than five.
• Junior Entry - $1 for each model, up to $3 total
• Vendor Tables (6 ft, with chairs) - $25 each
