Fleacon is the Alexander Lippisch Chapter's annual model show and contest. The event will be held at the Monticello, Iowa Berndes Center where there is plenty of parking available. The contest room is large and te lighting is very good. The contest uses an "open" judging format, in that each model is judged on it's own merits. IPMS rules are used in judging in each category. Each contestant can enter up to six (6) models for judging. "Best of" models are judged based upon the overall quality after the regular judging has been completed. Ten categories include Aircraft, Armor, Automotive, Dioramas, Figures, Fantasy/Sci fi, Juniors, Miscellaneous, Real Space, and Ships. Vendors space is available and food will be available on site.
