International Plastic Modelers' Society / USAInternational Plastic Modelers' Society / USAIPMS/USAIPMS/USAASMS presents the 2016 Capital Classic! This year's theme is "Failures and Defeats," any subject that is recognized as a failure or performed abysmally in its assigned role. We will have a Make 'n Take for the kids and lots of vendors for the bigger kids.
Modelpalooza 2016 will again be held at The Windham Orlando Resort. Last year we had one of the best attended shows in the Southeast. We have 80 vendors tables that sold out in August , we will open up table selection for Vendors April 1st.
Scale Model Show & Contest, Free "Make & Take"
Theme: “As Seen on TV” ” any era; any genre; made for TV such as a TV series, TV mini-series, etc. (the 1960’s Batman, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, HBO’s mini-series Band of Brothers). It cannot be a movie that shows on TV; i.e. Kelly ’s Heroes, Smokey and the Bandit, etc. If made for the theaters, then no. If made for TV, then yes

To celebrate, we’re featuring special pricing for entries ($5 for the first 10 entries) and vendor tables (first 3 tables free with pre-registration, additional tables $25). As always, general admission is free.

PLASTIC ON THE PRAIRIE model contest
Contest will be held at Fargo Holiday Inn
September 17-18 from 9am-3pm
Open to all ages for entries
Classes include - automotive, trucks, armor, planes, sci-fi, diorama, vignette, motorcycle, small scale, ships, figures, trains and more
Entry fee is $10 for contest and includes admisstion for both days.
General admistion is $5 for adults 16 and over, $3 for children 10-15 Free for under 10
