The Plastic Posse Podcast is a bi-weekly podcast about Scale Modeling. This includes all genres, scales, and ability levels. From Warhammer 40K to Gundam to Aircraft to Armor and even Science Fiction, our show features in depth interviews with the best guests, as well as discussions that take a deeper look into the hobby and our motivation for it. Our motto is "There is NO wrong way to enjoy Scale Modeling!" Hosted by TJ Haller, Doug Smith, Jensen Taylor, John Bonnani, Grant Mayberry, and Scott Gentry, the Posse is all about the Social and Community Aspects of this hobby! We interview Stewart Rolfe, AKA Black Hat Scale Models and what an engaging conversation. Stewart talks to his motivations, his emphasis on traditional scratch building, and our mutual support for the Annual Model Officers' Mess 48 in 48 Event benefitting Model For Heroes.
We also catch up with our Favorite Uncle, tearing him away from his latest project at the bench, and talk about his new Facade kit produced in conjunction with Faustus for RT Diorama. Martin gets into a lot of detail regarding the design and manufacturing of this new product, and hints that this might not be the only kit to be released...?
We also discuss what Inspires us to initiate a project, to dive into something and pick that dusty model out of the stash and get going on it, and TJ leads us into a pep talk / discussion on overcoming fear and sharing our work with our peers, even at the best model shows in the world, and why this is a great idea!

JB, Aaron Kuck, and Ian Bonner corner newly minted AMPS Master Dustin Dias to talk to him about his models, his modeling, and what it was like to be crowned as AMPS newest Master.
The Posse also talk about our amazing trip to Gettysburg, led by Historian Extraordinaire Pat Brown, who made our day there incredibly memorable. We also talk friends, fun, and all things AMPS - builds that caught our eye, and how impressed we were with this years National Event. Neil Stokes and his team did an incredible job and we will definitely be attending more AMPS Nationals in the future!
We also discuss some listener feedback on Pharoah Builds from our last episode, and the gang gets into a insightful discussion about judging at model shows, and how judges affect the results for better or for worse.

We also dive into our own mortality as modelers, and ask the question, "What three builds are your “Pharaoh builds?” The Pharaohs of Egypt were famous for being buried with their earthly possessions and symbols of their accomplishments - so which three builds have you done that you would want archaeologists to find in 10,000 years buried with you?
