About the Event... Charlotte Scale Modelers and Gaston County Model Builders will be hosting the IPMS Region 12 Convention and Contest on Saturday, November 4, 2023. The event will be held at the Gaston County Citizens Resource Center located at 1303 Dallas-Cherryville Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034. The event is being sponsored by the Gaston County Visitors Bureau.The model contest will be judged according to all IPMS rules and there will be 84 separate categories including 14 categories for juniors.The contest will have numerous vendors on-site and there will be an on-going raffle throughout the event.Region 12 will conduct a business meeting.This venue site hosted a very successful Regional contest in 2017 and has more than adequate space for entry displays, club displays and vendors. There is additional work space for meetings and judging.
