Eduard has a very fine set of photo etch for Revell's 1/144 Fletcher Class Destroyer. The frets come in three different packages and they can be ordered individually, or as a full set. Packages include two sheets with instructions with cardboard between each sheet. Dimensions of the sheets for the railings and general layout are 5"x8". The weapons set has two sheets, one 3½" square and the other 3"x5½". The smaller size makes it a lot easier to work with, especially if you have a limited work area. Each set is relief etched to show greater detail. They are sturdy, which is a bonus for people like me, who have five thumbs. The instructions are very well laid out and easy to follow with drawings of the location of the PE parts.

Eduard is to be complimented on producing a set that will make any Fletcher modeler happy. By giving us three sets to choose from, those with a limited budget can buy each set as it is needed. Also, modelers wishing to detail just certain parts of the model have that option. I would highly recommend these sets to anyone who wants to build an accurate Fletcher.
