Originally I thought this was a Trans Am and a typo had been made. It was soon very apparent this was a comic car. This Trans Um Tire Bird is absolutely hilarious. Being a Trans Am lover I tried to give this comic car a serious look as possible. The kit is a caricature of the Trans Am with "super scoops, racing wheels, fender flares and wheelie bars is ready for the big Trans Um race."

The body and tailpiece had some missing plastic that was easily filled with the leftover tree. The tires and wheels were both two pieces. Tires had a warp to them that gives this car more personality. The figure and steering wheel didn't have easy place to mount (steering wheel was only half a piece with the drivers hand attached. Glass went in without issue and chrome as well except for the trim. The chrome grille was a very nice piece that reminds me of an older Trans Am. The chrome trim didn't fit the fender wells correctly and cutting as we all know removes the chrome finish. I the end, it was a fun, quick build.

Revell continues releasing all the old classics from Tom Daniels (the Red baron and Rommels Rod to name a few) and this one falls into that category Dave Deal Van, ZZZZZZ-28 and Messa-schnitzel. Overall a good toy kit and a great build for a kid or a Pontiac fan!

My thanks to Revell for the review kit!
