The Kit

[review image] The kit consists of 187 pieces and one decal sheet. The main body was one piece and all the chrome parts were in excellent condition (no flashing). This Model was a dream to put together and assembly steps were easy to follow.

The Build

[review image] Well I started with the motor, well because that is what the instructions said to do. I first built the Coupe engine, but after I built it and got it all ready, I went on line and looked at some more pics of the real car. I then decided I like the Highboy engine better, so I built it instead. I added some plug wires and a makeshift distributor cap. Most of the motor was chrome. The transmission was molded in white, so I did a mixture of steel and brass. This came out pretty good. So by now I decided I would build the Coupe version, instead of the Highboy. I like the fenders on the coupe. I decided on the paint color I would use. The nice thing about this kit is there were lots of options on building so changing your mind is easy.

I decided on using Testor's One Coat Lacquers Purple-Licious & Mystic Emerald. I did the interior in the emerald and purple with some black. I used one of the decals on the trunk lid. I made my own dragon decals, they turned out pretty good. I masked off the front fenders and made emerald flames.

All in all, the model went together fine. I really enjoyed building this kit. Thanks to Revell for the review sample and to IPMS for letting me write this review.
