1/32 F-14 B/D Exhaust Nozzles For the Tamiya Kit

MSRP: $59.95 Website: www.aires.cz The F-14 was, to me, the most memorable war plane of its kind. Variable geometric wings, huge fuel capacity, Mach 2+, 60,000 feet ceiling I could go on and on . Modeling one however is becoming easier and easier. Aries has released a set of exhaust nozzles which accurately capture the fighter exhaust nozzles in gripping detail.

The kit comes with 10 extremely well molded resin nozzle pieces with a fret of photo-etch afterburners. Each nozzle will consist of 5 resin and 1 of the photo-etch. Assembly of the engine tube nozzle and can is very straight forward. Then you need to carefully cut out the rear fuselage so the nozzle will fit properly. I ground out a little too much on my example and had a bit of sink hole to deal with. For this reason I would recommend this set for the experience modeler but if the beginner takes his time and is careful he should be able to get it to work and once complete will look absolutely gorgeous.
