1/32 F-8J VF-24 Crusaders 'Nose Art in Vietnam'

MSRP: $ 25.00 Website: www.zotzdecals.com Eli Raphael brings out a beautiful set of markings for a USN Crusader from VF-24. This set contains a total of 4 decal sheets. First, the colorful markings for the red and white checkerboard marked F-8's. The second sheet covers the cartoon nose art for 5 different aircraft, including my personal favorite "Yosemite Sam", and last but, by no means least is a complete set (2 sheets) of stenciling for the Crusader, a most needed addition. In fact, the Trumpeter kit decal stencils are found sorely wanting and they will be replaced with the far more accurate stenciling on these sheets in my build review of the F-8-E. Sadly, the build was too far along to use the rest of the markings, which appear excellent in terms of color, register, thinness, etc. Also, a complete set of color instructions for placement for all markings including a numbered guide for the stencils.
