PT Decal is a relatively new company and is a co-production of the Dutch Decal Company, which has been around since 1986, and Pierre Tilley. PT Decals are produced in three scales: 1:72nd, 1:48th and 1:32nd (XXL) scale. These decals are silk screen printed and come with detailed full color English instructions and sometimes accompanied with color pictures.

This particular set is of a Douglas C-47A, "The Voice", which was used for highly propaganda missions in Vietnam in 1954. This set includes a fold out color card of a picture of the aircraft and on the back there is other information and pictures of underneath the aircraft.

These decals are in perfect register and the color is right on. However they are on the thin side so try not to take too much time placing them where you want them or moving them around too much.

If you are interested, don't pass them by. They are produced in limited quantities only and only get reprinted if the demand is great. They are made in three sizes: 1/32 (or XXL) which has a sheet containing decals for a JU-88A-4 and a Spitfire LF.MK.V/IX, 1/48 which has a sheet for the C-47A and a 1/72 sheet for the JU88A-4, B-26B/G, C-60 Loadstar and a C-47A.

These decals can be ordered from www.ptdecal.nl which is a Dutch Company for $15 plus shipping but probably can be found in some stores in the States.

I highly recommend these decals not only for their quality but also for the uniqueness of the aircraft that they represent.

My thanks to PT Decals and IPMS for the opportunity to review these decals.
