This is my first opportunity to really look at an issue of Air Modeller and I was very impressed. I have only seen one other issue which the shop I was visiting in Georgia had priced at $17.00! This is a high end, square-backed magazine printed on quality paper with extensive photo coverage of all subjects. The models are built by master craftsmen, and each build is thoroughly documented.

This issue has seven feature articles with something for any aircraft modeler regardless of era or scale preferences. In the first article we are treated to an almost step by step conversion of the 1/32 Trumpeter Lightning into a T5. Next, a wonderful build of a 1/48 PZL P23 that looks so real you would think you could start it up and fly away. The 1/32 Revell Hunter by Frank Oudin follows and showcases a truly beautiful build! Our next article takes us through the build of a well worn French F8F, with the build reflecting the very heavy use of the type in Indochina. The follow on article is a bonus for F8F enthusiasts with many great pictures in both color and B&W depicting museum, in service and restored aircraft. Coverage of last September's Tiger Meet is filled with gorgeous photos. Then there is good coverage of many new releases including kits, detail parts and decals. The magazine finishes off with a truly gorgeous build of the Wingnut Wings 1/32 F.2b.

If you love well written articles, outstanding photography and subjects then this magazine is for you. My only complaint is that the caption on the upper left-hand corner of page 42 was printed in such a manner as to be very difficult to read. I recommend it to anyone who loves aircraft, well built models and those who are looking for a little inspiration with their own builds.

Our thanks to Air Modeller for the review copy. Look for it in your local hobby shop or subscribe directly from Air Modeller.
