The kit is nicely molded in dark gray plastic; consisting of 64 pieces.  Construction was very straight forward.  There is however injection pin marks on the inner walls, but they can be easily filled.  However, in any case, after assembling the kit it is very hard to see the inner walls.  The outer textures of the walls are great.  The brick and stucco facade is beautifully molded and is just begging for dry brushing.  A down fall of the kit is the interior; there is only a fire place on the second floor.  Although, for the price offered it is only logical to not include an extensive interior, and as said before it is hard to see it.

The window shutters and borders were added next.  They all fit into place with no difficulties.  After that, the interior was painted a dark brown color.  Next, the outer walls were assembled together.  There are big seams down the four corners of the house, but a layer of ivy covered them perfectly.  The exterior was first painted in Tamiya Hull Red for the bricks.  The stucco was painted in a lighted version of Tamiya German Gray.  A wash of black and brown was added next to enhance the depth of the house.  Finally, the whole house was dry brushed in its respective colors.  After painting the house the roof was then assembled and painted separately.  Next, the roof was affixed to the house and placed on a base.  The house is not provided with a base, but I believe most modelers wouldn’t use it anyway; they would rather place it on their own.

In conclusion this kit fits and builds up very nicely.  I recommend this model for anyone wanting to have a great addition to a diorama for an affordable price.  I would like to thank John Noack and Testors for the review sample.
