MiniArt has released a number of 1/35 figure and building kits. Now that Dragon and MiniArt are partners, the buyer gets an added bonus in this kit. They have included Dragon's four man anti-tank team.
The box is a plain affair made of a sturdy cardboard material. There is a colored artist drawing of the building on the top and the sides are covered with other buildings in their line.
Inside the box, you find a small treasure trove of items. The exterior of the building's sides are formed from vac-u-formed plastic. The building itself is composed of a full front fašade and about 1/4 of a right wall and 1/8 of a left wall. The walls are composed of two sheets of plastic each and for added strength, they are designed to interlock. There is also a separate upper eave that requires lots of assembly. It is of the half moon adobe brick segments. The sheet plastic is dark grey and the detail is exceptional. You also get three white colored plastic sprues of door and window fixtures. These are great fitting with no ejector pin marks what so ever. They also include door and window handles.
Another treat is a sheet of 21 German propaganda posters and ten street and building signs. The posters are printed on glossy paper and look well detailed. The Dragon Anti-tank team is a special added bonus. My set came with a small sprue of German infantry weapons and a flamethrower sprue as well.
This set, once completed, is almost a complete diorama by itself. All you need is a base to put the kit on and some rubble. This is a great kit and I would like to thank MiniArt and IPMS/USA for the opportunity to review this kit.
