They have produced a nice set of Canadian/British Tank Crewmen in 1/35 scale in resin. They come individually packaged with a color (Colour for you Canadians) photo of the finished piece. In the photos they look just fine but once assembled the poses look awkward. I know they are supposed to go into an armored (again Canadian) vehicle and that would make them look just right. Upon opening the packages, I noticed very little flash and therefore required very little cleanup. The parts are few and are keyed to make a perfect fit. After assembling each figure I primed them with light grey automotive primer. Once dry I used Andrea and Vallejo acrylics to paint them. Both Vallejo and Andrea produce a British Khaki which is perfect. I was impressed with the fine detail that was sculpted into each piece. The faces are superb. The finished tankers look right and will look better in a tank. The gerry cans are pretty standard and well cast. For the $7.95 you get 5 cans. Not exactly a bargain. I would recommend either of the tankers and also the gerry cans to any builder of armor in 1/35. I wish to thank Ultracast for supplying the review samples and IPMS/USA for sending me these to review. I look forward to seeing more from this company.
