"Vati" Molders had a meteoric rise within the Luftwaffe until his untimely death while flying to Ernst Udet's funeral. The youngest general in the Luftwaffe until that time Molders flew with the new Luftwaffe in the Condor Legion and then became the second highest scoring ace of the Battle of Britian. From there he went off to the Eastern Front to lead JG-51 to greatness. He was the first pilot in history to have 100 confirmed kills. Following his success on the Eastern Front he was promoted to General of the Fighter Force with 115 victories.

Ultracast has sculpted an absolutely gorgeous figure. The facial impression and stance are distinctly Molders. Molded in bubble and blemish free cream colored resin this is an excellent figure. Clean up is easy with a couple of swipes with a knife blade and you are ready to paint. The figure is accompanied with a color photo of the finished figure and it is very well done. Much better than I'll be able to do but you can see the colors perfectly.

This figure is a perfect first figure for a budding figure painter or even an airplane guy looking to add a figure to their model. Well done Ultracast. Can't wait to see the next one. How about an Erich Hartmann, Adolph Galland, maybe a Macki Steinhoff even?

Highly recommended
