MSRP: $9.50 Website: www.dragonusaonline.com Master Box LTD has some nice model kits and figures sets. They continue to expand their line on an increasing basis. A fellow club member had purchased their Hand To Hand Combat, Eastern Front figure kit and I was really impressed about it. I guess the old "first impressions might be deceiving" holds true. The box shows a picture of two Second Infantry Division soldiers firing a M1917A1 .30 caliber water cooled heavy machine gun. If you are considering buying this kit for that reason, please read on. The back of the box consists of the sprue location, parts assembly, painting guide. The sides are made up of a safety warning (nice touch for younger modelers) and advertisements for three other kits in their figure line. What you get inside is a small decal sheet with numerous unit patches, ranks, red crosses and what I think might be Military Police arm markings. You get 25 olive drab parts for this kit, which are all located on one sprue. The parts are flash and ejector mark free. Each figure has a different facial expression and legs, arms, heads, and torsos are all separate pieces. You don't get the water can or the hose. These of course can be easily made for styrene or found in the spares box. If you look in your spares box, you might as well pull out a more detailed .30 ammunition container because this one is about as basic as you can get. The long ammunition belt is another nice touch though. This is a decent kit and will make a fine addition to a diorama or a small vignette in it's own right.
