[review image] The kit comes with two tan sprues with 8 figures on each one. No you don't get 16 different figures, but rather two of each one. The figures are one piece, which means there are no attaching the legs and arms etc. The detail is nice, seams lines are subtle, and the weapons are molded nicely. There is a mix of the two types of winter uniforms. Heavy down uniforms and trench coats, with two different types of head wear also, turtle shell (helmet) and the famous Russian cold whether hat. There are four different weapon poses: sub-machine gun, mortar, heavy machine gun and rifle. I'm not to familiar with the names of these actual weapons.

There are no instructions per se to paint the figures, just the illustration on the back of the box…similar to some of Italeri's aircraft kits. For a non-figure modeler I really like these figures, the detail is good and I really enjoyed painting a couple of them. The figure guys should like them and for us non-figure guys they are a nice break from constructing a full kit

I highly recommend this kit.

My thanks go out to Italeri for this review sample.
