Contact Info: nautilusmodels@bellsouth.net Special Navy (MPM) announced and has issued their Type VIID conversion set for Revell's 1/72 Scale U-boat that allows a minelayer to be made from the kit. This included resin and injection parts to lengthen the kit as needed. Nautilus Models continues their winning ways and support of the Revell U-boat with a beautiful laser cut wood deck for the Type VIID conversion. In the set, you get a single sheet of basswood laser engraved to represent the main decking (2 parts) and the conning tower decking plus resin hatches. You also get an excellent set of instructions to show not only how to install the deck but how to install the conversion set in such as way as to minimize fit issues with the deck and conversion set. All the parts are well done. If you have invested in the Special Navy conversion set, you need to buy this set from Nautilus. It is superbly designed and researched. It has excellent instructions for both the conversion and the decking and will improve the look of the conversion immensely. Very highly recommended.
