MSRP: $22.95 Kit provided by Eduard (www.eduard.cz) Hasegawa answered the call for a Jeep in 1/48th scale with their two offerings. The Follow Me Jeep has the addition of the radio rack in the back. There are some compromises that had to be made to mold the Jeep in plastic. It is these compromises that Eduard comes to the rescue on. This is one case where the photo etch parts are much more delicate and accurate than the kit offering. The set contains one fret of photo etch and one acetate film. There are a variety of applications but the most notable changes are more accurate bumpers, headlight guards, instrument cluster, and lots of things for the engine. On the engine you are given a new flywheel, support bar, ignition wiring, radiator grills and hold downs. Overall this set is very comprehensive and a welcome addition to the kit. All the applications of photo etch are smartly applied and much better than the plastic parts they replace. On the Follow Me kit the additional radios front faces are included as well. One thing that is unique on this set is that there are patterns for bolt heads. You have to heat up plastic and then smash it into the pattern and trim it off. This is a nice addition and very welcomed. Highly recommended. Thanks to Eduard for the review copy.
