Kit # 35-004

5.5 Euros (No US Price given, approx. $5)

This is a Spanish company that is new to me. The leaflet accompanying the product indicates a line of 1/35 armor accessories, of which this item is one of the first releases.

The exhaust is intended for either the DML/Dragon or Tamiya PzIVF/G/H kits, though it also fits the Italeri kit that I had “in progress.” Cleanly molded in a cream-colored resin, this is a single piece item that is easy to remove from its casting block. There were a couple of small pinholes, easily filled, but no other casting defects or problems. The level of detail is somewhat better than the Italeri kit parts, though the exhaust unit is pretty simple to start off with. The main difference is the prominent welding seam on the resin part that is not present on the Italeri kit parts. I cannot comment on the differences from the kits for which this piece is labeled. The exhaust pipe needs to be reamed out further to better convey the impression of depth, but apart from this, the piece needs only to be painted to finish. This fits easily in place of the kit parts.

Overall, a nice product, though I didn’t use it for the recommended kits so I cannot comment on the suitability or need with those kits. Nonetheless, if you have a PzIV kit, this is something you may wish to consider buying for additional impact.

This product, along with their complete lines of armor accessories and figures, is available directly from MIG at http://www.migproductions.com/ or from a number of outlets in the US; details are available at the website. My thanks to MIG for supplying the review sample.
