Once again Bob Sanchez and his group of aircraft enthusiasts give us some aggressors! These have always been unique, one of a kind aircraft and are ones that jump out at you whenever you see them.

The subjects of this sheet are some Adversary Scooters of VF-126 from the early 90's. There are two A-4M's and two A-4F's on the sheet, and the two F's are minus the avionics hump, which really piqued my interest. I never seem to be able to get that hump just right, so now I might be able to finish that Hasegawa A-4 that has been taunting me for a long time.

The first of the A4M's is in green and gray from December 1992. The next A-4M is in Blue and two-tone gray, probably from the same time frame. Both have Fighter Weapons School markings. 158171 is Marines and 159486 is Navy. As an aside, both of the M's ended up in Argentina in 1995.

The last two sets of markings are for the same aircraft, BU No. 155018. It is most likely from the 1992 time frame, as well. The first scheme is another two-tone gray and blue combination, but the last is the real eye-catcher. Brown, green and sand over gray with Iraqi insignia and red numbers outlined in yellow is definitely worth a second look. After doing a little research on the internet, I was also able to find pictures of it in 1992 with yet another green and brown scheme on it. But the saddest pictures are those of it sitting in the desert fading and wasting away in the two-tone gray and blue paint. Those can be seen on www.primeportal.net:/the_airstrip.htm.

The sheet is of the quality we have come to know and expect with Two Bobs; extremely thin and in perfect register. My thanks to IPMS/USA and to Bob Sanchez for the sample. I hope to have an A-4 on these same pages shortly as a follow-up to this review.
