Twobobs continues their run with the latest markings for the US Air Forces newest bird.

The instructions have full color profiles showing the decal locations, FS numbers, and pictures of the actual aircraft and a history of the craft. The FS numbers also include matches to Testors, Humbrol, Gunze Sangyo, Xtracolor and Xtracrylics paints which will really help with one of the hardest details on this new plane. There are the usual kit suggestions and aftermarket ideas but these are limited as there isn't much on the market yet. The only differences between the 2 different scale sheets are the catalog number and kit suggestions. Again, my only complaint on the instructions is the reference pictures are very small.

The 72nd set includes full markings for 3 different aircraft from the 325th fighter Wing. The 48th scale sheet also includes all 3 options but only has full markings for 2 of the versions. Markings are made up of multiple layers when necessary to avoid registration issues.

If you like the new Raptor go out and get your hands on one these sheets in your favorite scale, you know you want to.

I want to thank Bob Sanchez at Twobobs for supplying the decals. Make sure you check his site out at www.twobobs.net.
