MSRP: $12.00 Website: www.twobobs.net Two Bobs has produced an excellent decal set for the F-15C and E. The "C" decal sheet , item No. 48-168, has already been reviewed on the IPMS Review site, and the "E" decal sheet has all of those same positive features that make the "C" sheet worth the money. The package contains an 8.5x11 "reference/instruction" sheet which provides some small amount of history for the enclosed markings. A set of 3 view drawings, in color, clearly illustrate the correct location for the decals. Ten images, each approximately 1.5x1 inch provide extra guidance for the placement and appearance of the markings. The 3 view drawings and the additional photographs provide all of the "paint scheme" info a modeler would need in order to get started on an F-15E. The decals are printed with a precision of registry (images centered on their backgrounds…borders with no gaps, etc) that is as close to perfect as one can hope for. The carrier film does not cover the entire sheet (meaning less trimming and less chance for air bubbles under the decals) but rather extends just beyond the printed letters, numbers, and symbols. There are some great features with Two Bobs decals. The decal instructions include F.S. numbers for the paint scheme and list the item numbers for the proper paints for Testors, Humbrol, Gunze, and Xtracrylics. This isn't that tough of a task, since the "E" is 100% FS36118. Along with that information is a brief list of "What’s Out There", a list of kits for which these decals will work, and different after market parts for the F-15E. The extra information on the paints, kits, and after market parts is a nice touch. Two aircraft are the featured subjects on this decal sheet. One can model aircraft from the 12th AF or 389th Fighter Sq. There are sufficient markings for 4 different aircraft. These are very high quality decals and I highly recommend this Two Bobs product.
