MSRP: 48-009- $5.99; 480-010- $11.99 Web Site: www.mawdecals.com Once again, MAW Decals gives us some great looking Marine Corps decals. This time for the Academy CH-53. The first set is 48-009, a complete set of walkways for the chopper. Well printed by Microscale, they are appropriately thin and apply easily. Although I had no issues with the kits decals, these appear to be more complete and look great on the kit. Next up is 48-110, this is a full set of markings and covers an example from HMH 463 and HMT-302. The second choice includes a unique set of digital camouflage markings for the tail section (very cool). There are nice color sheets to guide you with placements, however, there are no color codes or info and the kits stencils are still required. There is a set of walkways included in the 48-110 package as well. These are both good looking sets of decals are up to the standards of the MAW sets I've used previously on other projects. Both sets are recommended if you're building that big'ol CH-53. Many thanks to MAW decals for the review sample.
