This company is fairly new dealing with modern Marine Corps aviation. They are nice and thin, register is correct and the instructions are excellent.

Part 1 includes two sheets of well printed markings for two D model Hornets. Included are markings for VMFA(AW)-224 "The Fighting Bengals" and VMFA(AW)-533 "The Hawks" as well as a color placement guide and a DVD with enough reference photos to satisfy anybody. The sheets include stencils as well as the markings for both squadrons. Crisp and right on register these would look outstanding on your next big two-seater Hornet. As soon as I get my D model ready for decals those Bengals marking are going onto it.

Part 2 of this set deals with F/A-18D's of the VMFA(AW)-332 "Moonlighters" and VMFA(AW)-121 "The Green Knights". The VMFA-332 decals are hi-vis and depict an aircraft during OIF, 2005. This set of decals are beautiful, I'm more on the low-vis side but with these I'm going to have to get Academy's kit just for these decals. The VMFA-121 decals are low-vis and depict an aircraft during OIF, 2007. The set also includes numerous placard decals for the SJU-17 seats and decals for the chaff and flare mods.

Overall these are very nice decals. These decals can be purchased at MAW-Decals, www.mawdecals.com or www.flightdecs.ca .

Many thanks go to Creighton Henthorn and MAW-Decals for these review samples.

Highly recommended.
