Here are two new decal sheets from the Dutch Kits At War concern. First up is the second in their new 1/32 range. Titled "RAF Overseas", this features four options for two types. For Hasegawa's Curtiss P-40E, there are three options for Kittyhawks. These are AK578/GA-V of 112 Sqn (With "shark mouth"), AK919/LD-B of 250 Sqn both RAF, and A29-9 of 75 Sqn RAAF. Lastly on this sheet is a single option for a Brewster Buffalo, for the Special Hobby kit. This is for an aircraft of the Royal Netherlands East Indies Army Air Force (RNEIAAF). These last two options rather make a mockery of the sheet's title, but are welcome nevertheless! Full national and individual markings are included, though there is no stencilling.

The second sheet is to 1/48 scale and is rather ambiguously, though accurately, titled "RAF Selection." Three types are featured; 6 Beaufighters, 2 Dakotas and a single Hampden. These are:

· Beaufighter 1F, R2101/NG-G, 604 Sqn, flown by S/L John Cunningham
· Beaufighter 1F R2204/FK-J, 219 Sqn.
· Beaufighter IIF R2402/YD-G, 255 Sqn.
· Beaufighter VIF V8708/S, 46 Sqn.
· Beaufighter VIF V8502/H, 46 Sqn.
· Beaufighter X NE831/PL-O, 144 Sqn.
· Dakota I FD772/ZK-Y "Windsor Castle", 24 Sqn
· Dakota III KG374/YS-DM, 271 Sqn - flown by F/L David Lord VC.
· Hampden I L4070/OL-C, 83 Sqn, as flown by P/O Guy Gibson of later "Dambusters" fame.

Recommended kits for these are the Tamiya Beaufighter, FM Hampden and either the Monogram or new Trumpeter C-47 kits, although the Beaufighter I and II options require conversion sets for the basic kits. All individual markings are included; national marking are included for the Dakota and Hampden only, as all the Beaufighter options can use the kit decals. No stencilling is included.

Both sheets are well printed and in register. Kits At War recommend Mr. Mark Softer and Setter products; I've had good luck with the "wet Future puddle" method in the past with Kits At War decals. Each set is limited to just 150 sheets, so if you are interested in these, you'd better get them quickly!

My thanks to Kits At War for the review samples. Kits At War products are available directly from their website, or from Flightdecs in the Canada.
